This page explains how to request deletion of your Belka account and associated data.

How to request account deletion
You can request deletion of your account directly in the Belka App:
- open the App
- go to account settings
- select “Delete account”
You may be required to confirm your request.
If you cannot access your account, you can request deletion by contacting:
We may require verification of your identity before processing such requests.
What data will be deleted
When your request is processed, we will:
- delete your account
- delete your email address and authentication data from our active systems
- remove or anonymize any personal data associated with your account
What data may be retained
Some data may be retained where necessary for:
- legal obligations
- security and fraud prevention
- system integrity and audit purposes
In particular:
- encrypted ballots and public election records may be retained as part of the integrity and verifiability of voting processes
- such data is not linked to your identity and therefore cannot be located for deletion
Retention period
Account-related personal data is deleted without undue delay after your request is verified.
Residual data in backups or logs may be retained for a limited period and securely deleted in accordance with our retention practices.
